Second Annual Bowling Event - October 26, 2008
Thank you to the management and staff of Oakville wal-mart who raised $2500 for the children and families of Safetynet
Safetynet Children & youth Charities second annual bowling tournament, once again was a great success. Thank you to the over 120 bowlers, who attended this years event, together we raised over $9000.00 that will go to the charity programs.
Safetynet wishes to express its sincere gratitude to the faculty, and students of Nelson High School. Together these hard working students raised $10,000.00 for the children and families of Safetynet. Safetynet will honour their efforts by ensuring the fund-raising is allotted to the children and families who need it most.
Thank you to the kind members of the Oakville community who assisted in sponsoring families this year for Christmas. With their help, we were able to provide many children with presents under their trees, and their families with Christmas dinners.
