Volunteer
Safetynet is always looking for volunteers to assist in our clothing bank, furniture program, and community clothing pick up. Volunteer opportunities include sorting clothing, assisting families, preparing kitchen items, and storing furniture.
Commitment is once a week, minimal two hours, between the hours of 9:30 AM to 1:30 PM. Afternoons are also sometimes available. Safetynet will work with potential volunteers to find hours that fit into your schedule.
On a seasonal basis, we recruit for volunteer tutors and musical instructors. Safetynet believes that education is the way to break the cycles of poverty. Click here for more details.
Arabic, Spanish and Ukrainian are an extra asset that we often require to assist in translating for our refugee newcomers.
