Who we help
Safetynet Charities helps individuals and families who are financially disadvantaged. Our clients are primarily those living under the poverty line, including single parent families, new immigrants, asylum seekers, refugees, people facing homelessness. We are agnostic to race, religion, gender, sexuality, gender identity, disability, age, or background, ensuring that all individuals and families in need receive the support they deserve
How we help
Safetynet Charities provides integrated support services, offering a combination of practical essentials and personalized learning opportunities to help families thrive both immediately and in the long term. All of our essentials and learning programs are provided free of charge to clients.
In the short term, we help families Stabilize by providing essentials, such as clothing, toiletries, essentials and kitchenware. We also have a furniture program to get them started.
To help Build a Brighter Future, we offer one-on-one academic tutoring and music lessons, providing personalized support to help students thrive.
Clothing Bank: provides an environment where individuals can maintain their dignity by selecting their own clothing, offering a shopping experience that empowers them with choice and respect, rather than simply receiving handouts. Client must register and if accepted, are invited to shop for clothing every four months
